I recently attended and volunteered at the 2017 Spyders in the Hills event in Boerne, TX. It was great fun, and it made something clear to me.
There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of fans of Can-Am Spyders, that have no central point for information and news about our beloved vehicles. Yes, there are many forums, my favorite being spyderlovers.com, but you really need to search to find what you need, and it’s purpose is more for enthusiast to share their opinions and experiences. There are also dozens of Facebook groups to follow, but they provide similar functions to the website. It’s all great stuff.
What I would like to provide here is a place to post articles about Spyders, new things BRP is doing, new products available with reviews, technical tips and know-how, etc. All of which is easy to find and indexed in a way that people can make this a stop along the information highway that they make every day, after checking Facebook and Spyderlovers.
I may also provide links, to good products and services that I discover along the way. I will endeavor to chronicle my riding experience if I attend future rallies or make long road trips. I would like to provide maps and ride suggestions, starting with the Texas Hill Country rides that I have taken, again, providing Spyder owners with a stop that has all of this in one place.
