Yamaha gets more serious about Three-Wheelers

A while back we posted a link to an article describing the Yamaha Niken, which is scheduled for availability this year.  The article below adds evidence to the fact that Yamaha is seriously interested in the three-wheel market with the purchase of Norwegian company Brundeli’s patents on it’s three wheel designs, the “Leanster”.  While these bikes are not likely to compete directly with Can-am for the Spyder audience, they are likely to help the market accept new concepts and designs, and reduce the stigma of riding a non-conventional motorcycle.

  1. I heard that Honda was going to building one also. That front end or one like it has been around a number of years. A gentleman in Washington state does conversions on Harley.
